New Mexico Trip Part 1

The Park and The Zoo
(Camera dates wrong, correct days are April, 15th 2011)
Over spring break our family was able to take a trip to New Mexico to see my parents. My parents have had the opportunity to move around a bit, and every time they go to a new place, my mom is excellent at scouting out fun things to do, and plans an exciting, fun filled trip for us. This time was no different.
We arrived very late at about 11:00 PM after driving the full 15 hours in one day. We brought the dogs with and had a very comfortable drive in our new minivan. The next day, we were able to go to a free zoo and park. It was nice not to have to hurry out of the house because we got to bed so late the night before. For being free, I thought this park was excellent. Heck, I thought it would have been excellent if there was a fee. We were able to see a lot of fun animals.

It was Norah's first trip to any kind of zoo and she was completely enthralled with the animals. Audrey really had a great time at the park. She was a little less interested in the animals, but way more interested in the swing and slide. As long as she was having fun, is all that mattered. Jack enjoyed it all. When we first arrived he saw three kids playing football. He walked right up to them and asked to play. Then organized them into a two on two game. He is so social, and had a great time with the whole thing.
It was a fun little outing.
Check out part two all about our trip to the Carlsbad Caverns, coming soon!
The dates are wrong, my camera is so weird.
